Joy-Anne Crichlow is a Business Development Officer with over 10 years experience in the tourism industry, specializing in driving growth and forging strategic partnerships for Barbados’ tourism. Joy-Anne spent 9 years working in the Canadian office and playing a key role in expanding the reach of Barbados as a premier travel Destination. Recently transferred to the US office, Joy-Anne continues to work on attracting visitors to the Island, building and strengthening relationships with key partners across the industry network. Joy-Anne is passionate about her homeland Barbados and about sharing and promoting the unique experiences that the destination has to offer.
Her 3 favorite things about the island are the food, the beaches and the laid-back vibe of the people. She is a mother to 2 young adults-boy and girl- and when she is not working, she enjoys traveling the world especially the Caribbean, reading crime fiction, swimming and watching live stand-up comedy. Joy-Anne believes in “treating others as you would want to be treated,” and strives to live life with optimism and enthusiasm.
