Lori Swinderman has been in the travel industry for over 12 years. Starting as a Mexico travel specialist and then becoming the Co-Owner of a large travel agency. As a Travel Agency owner Lori is uniquely equipped to assist travel agents in all aspects of the business side of the travel industry. Lori has always had a passion for travel and specifically travel in Mexico. 2 years ago, Lori moved her family to Playa Del Carmen to chase dreams and along with Daniel start Mexico FamTrips. Lori is considered a leader within the travel industry serving on several boards within the industry. In addition to founding and owning Mexico FamTrips with Daniel, Lori is the President of a boutique travel agency that specializes in Mexico and Caribbean travel.
Daniel Scheiman is a native of Mexico City with a college degree in International Relations. Daniel moved to the Riviera Maya over 27 years ago to expand his career in the travel industry and in so doing became an Ambassador for Mexico. Daniel’s passion is to help the travel industry grow their business and gain knowledge about his country. As a bonus, he gets to meet new people and create long lasting relationships, all the while sharing his love and passion of Mexico and it’s culture. He has spent over 20 years in the travel industry on the hotel side with experience as a Sales Manager, Director of Sales and now as an Entrepreneur with Mexico FamTrips.
Lori and Daniel have a passion for educating travel agents so that they can continually do better, learn more and make great contributions to the travel world. In addition to Mexico and Caribbean FamTrips, Lori and Daniel have a foundation, TeAmo-Travel Experts in Appreciation of Mexican Origins. TeAmo-Travel supports families within Mayan villages through Mexico.
