Brenda Llamas Young entered the travel industry in 2009, and after two years of education, she opened her own home based agency. She narrowed her niched to Romance Travel, and more specifically, the luxury exotic segment, and her business has grown by leaps and bounds.
As an early adopter of Social Media, it has been instrumental in her branding, marketing, and sales efforts. After helping other agents with their branding, marketing and sales efforts, she decided to launch the Market Your Thing, in which she helps travel agents marker and sell out their trips.
Brenda’s writing has been featured in Travel Research Online (TRO), Vacation Agent Magazine, Travel Agent Revolution, Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine, and other lifestyle websites and blogs.
She has attended the prestigious Global Travel Marketplace (GTM) by Travel Weekly, and has spoken at various events, to include the Home Based Travel in Tampa, The Destination Weddings and Honeymoon Specialists Conference in Chicago, Karisma Best of the Best, and has hosted various marketing retreats for female travel entrepreneurs.
