Welcome to the heart of the travel community in Southeast Virginia! The Hampton Roads Chapter of the Professional Travel Agents of North America (PTANA) is a vibrant network of professionals dedicated to excellence, education, and mutual success.
Whether you are based on the Peninsula or the Southside—from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach and everywhere in between—you have a seat at our table.
Why Join PTANA Hampton Roads?
In an industry that moves fast, staying ahead means staying connected. Our chapter serves as your local bridge to global opportunities:
-
Monthly Expert Insights: We meet every 4th Thursday, alternating locations between the Peninsula and Southside to remain accessible to all. From cruise lines and luxury resorts to international tourism boards, our industry partners provide first-hand updates on the “latest and greatest” in travel.
-
Peer-to-Peer Mentorship: Beyond vendor presentations, our members pull back the curtain on the business side of travel. Share tips on emerging tech, efficiency hacks, and real-world vendor experiences that help you work smarter, not harder.
-
Exclusive CLIA Benefits: As a PTANA member, you belong to a CLIA Premier Member organization. Enjoy discounted Individual Agent Membership (IAM) rates and access to complimentary training that sharpens your professional edge.
