We believe that by investing in your knowledge and fostering a supportive community, we can collectively elevate the expertise of every travel agent in our state and nearby. At PTANA Louisiana, our mission is clear: we’re here to empower you through focused education and collaborative encouragement. We provide a vital local forum where you can grow professionally, expand your network, and connect with like-minded colleagues. With fewer storefront travel agencies and many advisors working from home, it’s easy to feel isolated or even lonely. PTANA offers a local network of colleagues who become friends you can turn to with a question, a concern, or help with a client challenge. We are colleagues in this community, not competitors. With 304 cities in Louisiana alone, there’s more than enough business to go around for everyone! We also proudly support local and worldwide charitable organizations and causes that resonate with our community.
As President of PTANA Louisiana, I’m genuinely excited to be a part of this journey, and it’s my goal to make PTANA a truly welcoming and enriching learning experience for every member. We know that as travel professionals, there’s never enough time in a day. That’s why we hope the time you spend with PTANA increases your business profits, boosts your agency’s efficiency, and that the booking tools and itineraries shared by our Industry Partners help you earn more and learn more.

MEETING INFORMATION
Chapter Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month unless otherwise advised at the request of the presenting supplier representative. They are usually lunch or dinner product trainings.
MEETING LOCATION
Meetings are held at various locations in Greater New Orleans or Baton Rouge area. Please check upcoming events for up-to-date meeting information.

MEETING COST
Your membership dues must be current in order to receive the “Members” price. If you have not paid your membership dues for the current year, you are considered a GUEST and the NON-MEMBER rate will apply.
PAYMENT METHOD
Meeting Dues can be paid by using the link found in the invitation.

Join an Existing PTANA Chapter
- To join an existing chapter, select Membership Application
- Upload your business card, specialist certificate, and CLIA, True, or IATA during the application process.
- If you are hosted, a letter is required.
Important
- At least one specialist program is required for membership. This includes domestic, international, chain hotels, cruise lines, and Travel Institute Specialist Programs. If you do not have a Specialist Certificate, you may go to https://www.travelagentacademy.com/, https://edu.recommend.com/ or http://www.travelagentuniversity.com and take one of the many on-line Specialist courses offered.
- Renew membership by the beginning of each calendar year.
