October Charity Campaign – Susan G. Komen of Maryland
Susan G. Komen Maryland is a family-run and passionately driven organization dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. Their mission? To save lives by addressing the most critical needs within our communities and investing in groundbreaking research to eventually cure breast cancer entirely.
For over 110 years, Susan G. Komen has been a beacon of hope, offering financial assistance, care centers, resources, education, comprehensive support, and access to clinical trials. This organization is the leading nonprofit in breast cancer research funding while providing real-time assistance to those confronting the disease. Maryland residents benefit from their robust breast cancer programs and assistance, seeking and receiving support every week.
Back to School Supply Campaign Update
As overcrowding in public schools continues to rise and critical resources like teachers and supplies become scarcer, it’s tougher for many students to get a productive academic start.
PTANA Maryland, let’s step up and make a difference! Our collection was delayed and we are now inviting everyone to donate general school supplies to help these schools reach their goals. Supplies will be collected during our October Member meeting.
Your donations will support Thomas Jefferson Elementary and Middle School #232 in Baltimore City, as well as Featherbed Elementary School #633-044 in Baltimore County. Let’s come together and lend a hand to our future leaders! |
