Hello PTANA Maryland Members,
It has finally happened. We have been waiting over a year to travel and hold in-person meetings. COVID numbers are down, restaurants, museums, movie theatres and other establishments are allowing patrons to return for indoor and outside outings. Phones are ringing as clients are fully vaccinated and ready to travel again. We are allowed to enjoy outside gatherings with family and friends as well as give them hugs. However, it’s not time to fully let down your guard.
I have wonderful news, PTANA Maryland will have an in-person Members-Only meeting on June 17, 2021 at the BWI Westin Hotel. This meeting is a Welcome Back Cruise Night sponsored by our longtime Preferred Industry Partner and friend, Cindy Burman of Cruise Maryland. This meeting is complimentary for members. Participation is first-come, first served and is limited to 75 attendees. There is still time to renew your PTANA Maryland membership before this event.
In addition to our Preferred Industry Partner Cindy Burman, representatives from Princess Cruise Lines, Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean, NCL, MSC, AMA Waterways, Scenic , Emerald, Virgin Voyages and CLIA have been invited to attend. Several of our industry partners will join us virtually.
The following COVID protocol will be observed:
· Temperature will be checked upon arrival
· Mask must be worn except when not eating or drinking
· 6 ft physical distancing will be observed.
I look forward to seeing you on June 17, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the Westin BWI Airport. The Westin staff is anxious to welcome us back.
** This is a complimentary event for members. Any member that RSVPs and does not attend the meeting is required to pay $40 to cover the cost of the dinner.
