Mr. personality as he is called, Garfield Collins, a native of Jamaica is no stranger to the world of Travel and Entertainment. He is currently the Regional Sales Manager for the dynamic Couples Resorts Jamaica Brand and is a master public relations, sales and marketing guru with an impressive record of successes. Garfield is an authority in his field of travel and tourism with 25 Years of experience directing the sales and marketing for All-inclusive resorts in based in Jamaica, Cuba and The Bahamas. He is described as innovative, current and a bold thinker with the ability to effect change and grow business. He takes a no nonsense approach to project management, customer service and just plain getting the job done.
He has made appearances and been interviewed on radio shows across the USA, Canada, Latin American and the Caribbean, and co-hosted radio shows in Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami, Calgary and Toronto. He is a published writer with articles in magazines and newspapers on travel and social issues of the day and as worked on ad campaigns with a host of celebrities, heads of state, the diplomatic core, business leaders, Cosmopolitan, Heineken CNN, Bravo, NBC, CBS MTV and other media entities.
His is a natural negotiator and creator of cohesive partnerships, a leader with impressive characteristics that influences any project that he is focused on. His presentations are exciting, entertaining and not entirely politically correct, so come prepared for a fun fill business session like no other where travel agent engagement and maximizing your revenue is the goal.
As an avid traveler he likes to take the not so beaten path in exploring different destinations in search of adventure and culinary delicacies. He maintains a close working relationship with Tourism boards and organizations across the Caribbean, Mexico, the United states, Canada and Europe
Garfield holds a Master degree in hospitality and hotel management, Master certification Revenue Management and Marketing from Cornell University, is certified in professional development by Georgetown University Center for Cultural Development. He also hold memberships in professional organizations and sits on numerous boards. He is a connoisseur of the culinary arts and the recipient of over Ten (10) gold medals
