Welcome and thank you for visiting the North Carolina Triangle Chapter of (PTANA) Professional Travel Agents of North America Website.

My name is Marcia Knight, and I am your current chapter, President 2024-2025. I’m excited that we will be celebrating 14 years as a chapter in NC. While the organization will be celebrating 17 years. That says a lot for our organization. PTANA was created by travel agents, for travel agents. PTANA gives us a platform where we can get together and learn from our industry suppliers along with our fellow colleagues.

We host a monthly meeting with our travel suppliers who provide updated industry training on the products they represent. This is done virtually or in person. These meetings give you the opportunity to build relationships with cruise lines, tour operators, tourist boards, hoteliers, and organizations. We look forward to our meetings to have the added opportunity to mingle with other travel professionals, both Home-Based or brick and mortar, who have the same goals as we do to gain knowledge, friendship, comradery, and growing our respective businesses.

PTANA is big on giving back to various charities both on the local and national level. We welcome visitors to participate in our meetings and other events to learn why you should become a member.

MEETINGS
Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month unless otherwise advised.

7:00pm to 8:00pm Program

Prize Eligibility: Only PTANA Chapter Members in good standing are eligible for prizes offered by the chapter, vendors, or sponsors at a general PTANA meeting or special event.

NORMAL MEETING COST (Unless otherwise specified. Excludes special events)

Your membership dues must be current in order to receive the “Members” price. If you have not paid your membership dues for the current year, you are considered a guest, and the NON-MEMBER rate will apply.

• R.S.V.P. is due at least 5 days PRIOR to the meeting
• MEMBERS: $15 w/RSVP by the deadline
• NON-MEMBERS: $20 w/RSVP by the deadline
• Membership is $109.00 annually

Deadline for RSVP and Payment: Monday prior to meeting date (may differ for special events).

PAYMENT METHOD

Please pay by agency check or personal check only. Do not send cash. Payments must be RECEIVED prior to the RSVP deadline to receive the member rate.
